Re: Problem receiving connections from an open port
One thing for sure, "canyouseeme" doesn't work for me. Don't ask me why, because I couldn't figure that one out. It just says all the ports are closed. But indeed, as the other forum member pointed out there, something is alien. It may be a libtorrent bug... but no worries, people will hel...

Re: portforwarding isn't working
One advice kids: Never install Openwrt. That thing is evil. The "stable" version couldn't forward ports, and the "usually stable" trunk nearly bricked my router. :/ (The trunk version got installed, and I started set things up through SSH. The wan's pppoe connection couldn't conn...

Re: Windows XP users: Problem with avast! and tcpip.sys
By the way... I would run a ESET live scan from your browser after this threat unthreat. :) I always check my PC with Comodo's Cleaning Essentials and ESET, but Avast seemingly protects me. I did have BSODs back then, but it was due to Wuala's CBFS module. They somehow conflicted and things went boo...

Re: Force Start
I guess this feature would be simple to implement.
Did you guys check the Github bugtracker? (see the headline.. or if it's not there, F5 a few times.)

Re: Spam
The CAPTCHAs are solved by real human people. Sadly. So basically we have those modules. They check if the registering or posting user's IP is in the SFS database. If it's there, we usually put them on hold, or just delete them altogether. (They can always get a new IP and come back ... if they are ...

"Unthreat antivirus"... even the name sounds like a malware. You sure it's not a rogue?

Hmm. I did upgrade the server today (to 12.10 from 12.04.1) but I don't think that could break anything like this.
But I'll keep an eye out. Thanks for the heads up.

Re: Thinking of switching back to uTorrent...
Your files got corrupt somehow? Seriously, there is no auto-update... that's the only thing I can think of.
Maybe we should have a dialog for such. Or a feature to back things up.
(Hmm I like this. Like having a function to save the whole settings stuff into a different folder zipped for example.)

Re: Qt5?
About the RAM problems... maybe the ram is faulty? (I had such problems with a GEIL kit. I gave it to my friend who uses it ever since without any problems.) Fanless thingie. You could simply buy a new CPU cooler which makes literally no noise (there are many out there which just make the air move, ...
