Re: Torrents are fast for 30-60 seconds, then very slow
same problem with my client, don't know how to fix it There's 6 different official qBittorrent v4.4.5 & v4.5.0beta1 installers for Windows OS which work differently. So try them to see if any improvements or not. If you prefer qBittorrent with libtorrent v2.0 (RC_2_0 or lt20 in short], then in ...

Re: strange message
Google Search shows that you are low on RAM.
Did you disable Windows pagefile?
Did you modify any advanced RAM usage or Disk Cache settings?
Did you try newest qBittorrent v4.4.5 or v4.5.0beta1 using 32-bit or 64-bit installer?

Re: Change Download Folder
Are you using newest qBittorrent v4.4.5 or v4.5.0beta1? Are you using categories and expect incomplete and completed files feature to not respect torrents with a category? Did you enable Append .!qB extension to incomplete files? You do know you can replace trackers, use tags, sort and highlight all...

Re: Transfering qB from Win10 to Win11
Seems you had created discussion thread with different username: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/discussions/17893 > how do I transfer all my torrents to the new qB installation on Win11, and not do it manually? Unfortunately you have to do littlebit manually, even with some help with ext...

Re: Transfering qB from Win10 to Win11
What do you mean by qBittorrent data? If you do Windows upgrade then almost everything you currently have should be kept as is and you have maybe 10 days to revert and go back to previous Windows if didn't do big changes to Windows.old folder. If you do upgrade and selected not to keep settings, fil...

Re: Sitting at (Not Responding) for the past 22 hours.
Very few users read forums, more active discussions in reddit and unfortunately most contributors, developers and more knowledgeable users read GitHub a lot more often than anywhere else. When you try to create issue report then before submitting it, you have many important links that explain where ...

Re: 4.4.X lauch speed
Read the official news page: https://www.qbittorrent.org/news.php qBittorrent v4.4.5 was released. NOTE: The default builds for all OSs switched to libtorrent 1.2.x (RC_1_2) from 2.0.x (RC_2_0). Builds for libtorrent 2.0.x are also offered and are tagged with RC_2_0. The switch happened due to user...

Re: downloads gradually slow in speed then stop
Testing done. Using external drive shows clear issues that using system disk does not. Using C: everything seems fine. I've recorded everything now, if you would want to see, D: vs C: use but also just the general symptoms occurring. But yes external drive / USB seems to be the problem... .. when I...

Re: qBittorrent v4.4.2 slow at Re checking
I think qbittorrent_4.4.3.1_x64 Beta was checking faster and then 4.4.3 came out and it went slow again so I have to go back to uTorrent as it checks faster, just until Qbit gets sorted out which is taking a very long time. There was never any v4.4.3.1 beta and v4.4.3 is older than v4.4.3.1, unless...

Re: Seeding a torrent kills my internet connection
If you disable TCP completely or have UDP/uTP set as more important than TCP then: 1. You're not gonna find a lot of seeds and peers who have it disabled, use very old program where it's unavailable or just are using default settings to allow both connections (prefer TCP to be more important). 2. B...

Re: Seeding a torrent kills my internet connection
Are you using 4G/LTE Mobile internet? If you are, then even if limiting upload speed, maximum active connections and torrent queuing doesn't help either, then your network provider is not doing prioritization properly. Or your router, network switch or ethernet card is just not good. My previous net...

Re: qBT "steals" all my bandwidth when in use. Load balancing available?
Router: IGMP snooping - is it enabled? Location in the room - is it next to window? Wi-Fi - disabling it helps or make speedtests better? Can you try with ethernet cable instead of USB? Other: Try different provider if don't wish to use VPN, that's what helped me. You can check CellMapper website or...

Re: How to make the torrents in qBittorrent to queue for upload and not keep changing around?
Sorry for bumping, but I thought I already found help to your problem. I previously shared a link to GitHub website, where I found similar issue shared by another user and shared instructions what you need to change in qBitorrent. In the GitHub link, there's even screenshots showing where the settin...

Re: How to make the torrents in qBittorrent to queue for upload and not keep changing around?
Go to settings and uncheck "Do not count slow torrents", then qBitorrent should respect your currently uploading torrent count limit, but then you'll be not able to find peers so often to seed other inactive completed torrents. https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/14120 Otherw...

Re: How to make the torrents in qBittorrent to queue for upload and not keep changing around?
Many modems, routers and network cards have limited number of connections they can handle. Same goes for announcing to trackers. Select stop seeding if really interested in keeping only few torrents active or ready to seed or force announce to trackers if automatically every 30min is too long for co...
