Re: [unofficial]qBittorrent git master builds: 3.3.0alpha_20150621_5e400d31174
Hi! So qBittorrent finally got the "store torrent on mapped network" working, so I can start using it again, yeah! I have discovered what must be a qBittorrent bug. When I download a torrent made with several RAR files, one or more of the RAR files are corrupt. (the same thing doesn't happ...

Thanks for your work, but ...
I tried your experimental build (shared network drives disappearing) and there for would like to stay on qt5
When will qt5 be the new standard for your builds?

Re: Memory consumption over time
Why do you keep on stating the obvious?
To sum it up:
I don't care that qBittorrent/libtorrent uses +4 GB of cache, really.
I do care that qBittorrent has a memory/handle leak, that will make it crash after ~100 hours of running.

Re: Memory consumption over time
[quote="ciaobaby"] You have not proved conclusively that qBT is using all the memory, you have however shown that Windows is reserving memory when TWO different BitTorrent clients are running, which is not the same thing as the client actually using the memory directly. The BitTorrent pro...

Re: Memory consumption over time
Why do you keep on saying this. If you took the time to read what I wrote, you will see that it is the qBittorrent process that reports the memory use. So how can that be a Windows problem? This is a Windows client, and if it is not able to run in a Windows environment, then the program is faulty an...

Re: Memory consumption over time
Well, I welcome your remark. I have not been using qBittorrent for quite some time, because of this behaviour. I am running my bittorrent on a Windows 2008 R2 server and clearly see the memory leak in the Taskmanager. In the last versions of qBittorrent it was getting so bad, that qBt would crash wi...

Re: [official]qBittorrent 3.1.8 installer - Built with MSVC 2008
I hope the official build in future versions will have its firewall rule set to apply for both Public, Private and domain networks. That would save some people a headache (I think) Please report it to the bug tracker and if possible link to online documentation on how to achieve this. Well, I don't...

Re: [official]qBittorrent 3.1.8 installer - Built with MSVC 2008
Well, it is (more or less) working OK. This is the first ever version of qBittorrent that I have to specify which NIC/Network Interface qBittorrent must use. It sort of found 2 IP's (1 was the right one and was wrong (IP of a VM) and the network wasn't working 100% After setting it to use the right ...

Hi.
One quick observation, when you change from 32-bit to 64-bit the "totalizer" in statistics get reset.
Not a big thing, just thought you should know (could be "by design").

Re: BAD seeding performance
I think you caught Nemo on a bad day ;) The thing about Windows, Firewall and qBittorrent is something that puzzled for some time. When qBittorrent is installed (32 bit official release) a firewall rule is created allowing incoming connections, but only for "Public networks". Most people ...

Re: qBittorrent and (very) large .ISO files
Well, the solution/work around for me, was to download the big ISO's to at shared Map on a NAS. There was simply no way, I could succeed the "normal" way. This is kinda strange, since Tixati had no problem, so I assume it is not a OS or hardware related issue. The disk I was trying to use,...

qBittorrent and (very) large .ISO files
Has anybody experienced problems downloading large .ISO files (>40 GB)? I have had several severe crashes on my Windows 2008 R2, 64 bit server. Crashes so severe that I had to restart the server. Before I started downloading these .ISO's qBittorrent had been running successfully in several days. The...

Re: [official]qBittorrent 3.1.3 installer - Built with MSVC 2008
It worked very well just after start-up. But now, after 12-15 hours of running the program, qBittorrent is not capable of making any µtp connections. It sort of start the handshaking but something goes wrong and the connection is dropped or in some cases just stay without doing anything. After disa...
