Re: RSS Not working?

If all the sites throw this message and they worked, it means you had a connection outage or something similar.
I mean, qBittorrent does a standard lookup via DNS or the OS DNS cache (can be flushed on Windows via "ipconfig /flushdns").

Re: No Direct Connection

So basically you say qBittorrent won't / cannot forward via UPnP. The yellow sign should not be trusted. Because the 'No direct connection warning' works the same way as it does on uTorrent. If you have incoming connections (ie.: you seed directly), you get a green/OK sign. If you download / have no...

Re: RSS Not working?

"EDIT: Actually, after this error happened a few times it went back to normal, is there a reason for this? Yes, the host / site was down. At least the RSS URL part of it. If this keeps happening, your ISP may have a crappy DNS server installed. To fix that, you can always try changing your DNS...

Re: [POLL] What OS are you using?

8.1 on main laptop, 7 on desktop, 7 and Fedora on other older laptop. Since my laptop is the machine I use most of the time, and Secure Boot (or was it UEFI) killed easy/simple dual boot, I just keep Linux/FreeBSD installations in virtual machines. At least I can roll back in a vm if an update kills...

Re: Pirate Bay Domain back online, waving a pirate flag.

Nice. (Tapping the ship on an Android device results in ads / adware app downloads, so be careful with that.)

Re: [Solved] Registration/mail problems (Every problem fixed)

Yahoo contacted me that the issue is resolved, we are green.
So every user should receive our registration letter and the subscription letters we send out. (If you subscribe to a topic or receive a message or something.)

Re: Should low port peers be blocked?

Let's enable it. Should be configurable in advanced, where users could disable it. To be honest, most people just use old (hell, very old) uTorrent in this country. So ... like 95% of the users will be vulnerable and stay vulnerable here. Even if I check around my current torrents, almost everyone ...

[quote="ciaobaby"]And keep hoping that they don't get the same 'commercial' glint in their eye as Jelsoft did when Internet Brands made them an offer they couldn't refuse. [/quote] True, true. (The price tag bothers me the most when it comes to commercial forums, though. I would be fine wi...

Re: Hotmail/Outlook/Yahoo registration problems

Hotmail/Outlook should be fine on the other hand.
In the logs our server reports that we delivered the messages perfectly fine.

Forums will be offline Wednesday (01:00 - 04:00 - GMT+1)

Due to a site-wide maintenance.
The four hour window is an estimation, chances are high that the forum will be back up sooner than that.

Thanks for your understanding/patience.

[Solved] Registration/mail problems (Every problem fixed)

It seems that registering with a hotmail email address is a 50-50%. It either works, or the registration mail gets lost all the time. - Our site is set up correctly, it puts the new mails into the queue properly. - Server is set up fine, checked it with multiple MX checkers. All 100% green. - Server...

Re: .NET going open source

Only the server part is open-source. The GUI part like WPF of Windows Forms are both remain closed. This open-source move won't mean that Microsoft will support cross-platform either. So we won't have a Linux/whatever Visual Studio, or a gui ported, or a Linux .net runtime, or anything. Linux and ot...
