Re: Status of importing uTorrent Resume.dat?
I know your post have been answered, but the reason we don't have spoofing/other IDs is simple: We had the feature, and that made private trackers reject qBittorrent. Ever since Chris removed the feature, qBittorrent got widely accepted on every major (and even minor) torrent sites, which is just gr...

Re: Site talk
W-w-what?
I'm totally lost.
The webpage could have RSS, and actually it's real easy.
If the site allows some cron script to be run, that is.
Otherwise I could make a client side python that you could run (Sledge) after each news and it would generate the entries. (And add a line to the file.)

Re: Fedora 17 - qbittorrent process will not terminate when GUI is closed
You could always just use an Ubuntu LTS or Debian Wheezy for example. Heck, even CentOS is a great choice. Though, you will have tom compile your qBittorrent on these, except for Ubuntu LTS. If you copy down the packages you installed, and the config files you have, it takes like 2-3 hours only to m...

Re: qBittorrent saves to /tmp path!
and what is the end result?
the save path is obviously wrong (as seen on the pic), but was the file moved when it finished?

Re: Can't Search
What?
Even most Python libraries prefer v2 for now.
How long until everyone switcher to 3? No one knows.
By the way I think I could port the code to 3, but again... most distros in use ship with 2, prefer 2, install 2.

Re: awesome search engine :) ... want more
This would require a list of the torrents registered on Piratebay for example, with all the peer data as well. To be honest we can grab the database (IF they would prepare it all the time), but it only contains magnet links. http://torrentfreak.com/download-copy-of-the-pirate-bay-with-permission-130...

Re: qbittorrent v3.0.11 won't run without 'sudo' after compilation
You can build packages by hand, as in make .deb packages. Basically you perform the steps what pbuilder does. But pbuilder will let you save the hassle, as you don't need to have all those damned source / dev packages installed. Give it a try when you will have trouble with the current setup. "...

Re: qbittorrent v3.0.11 won't run without 'sudo' after compilation
What you said is a permission issue. You did not copy the files with "sudo make install", but used root to build everything. Thus you made a lot of files owned by root, which only root can execute. Simply CHOWN your folder (where the qb source/binary files are at). (***) Like so: sudo cho...

nvm, my description would just confuse anyone even more. sorry. There is an alternative speed in Transmission (iirc) as well. Basically it let's you have TWO speed limits. As you can see on the screenshot, you can schedule this too, by using the bottom settings in that window. What is it for? Let's...
