Re: Low upload speed when seeding
Your earlier measurement regarding upload/download speed has to be understood in the right way. If you download 50 MB/s and upload 7 MB/s, you are actually only sharing very little, if anything. This is because the TCP overhead is included. So when you say, that the upload speed drops the moment you...

Re: [HELP] qBittorrent lags my internet even when all torrents paused
Not that this is going to help you in anyway, but maybe it will inspire some developer to get it fixed. I have had a related (I think it is related) case. Suddenly all udp connection functionality was gone from my qTorrent. Previously it had worked without a problem. Despite I removed qTorrent and a...

Re: Unofficial 64-bit installer/archive 3.0.6/3.1.0alpha
So now I got a lot of "Overlapped I/O operatation". What happened was, I marked several files with in a "multi file" Torrent to be downloaded (was earlier marked " do not download"). First I thought, that it was just 1 one file. But after a while several of the new file...

Happy New Year!!
qTorrent running fine for 2 days now on a Windows 2008 R2 X64 server.
Haven't tried any fancy stuff though, just basic downloading and uploading.

Re: Lack of firewall exception when installing
version 3.06 and 3.1.x.Alfa does make the firewall exceptions, but... The "Edge Transversal" function is broke in some way. Default behaviour for Windows is to make the function "Defer to application", but this setting doesn't work with qBittorrent. If I change the setting "...

I agree with the speed improvement observations (UDP?).

So, if you wait long enough...
Thanks, I try it right a way and report back

Re: qBittorrent 3.0.6 installer - Built with MSVC 2008 and uTP support
Of cause Chris is right, but... Why not release the current code (which I am sure is improved after the 3.0.6 release) call it 3.0.7 with the new libtorrent version? Maybe some issues are not closed, but still the new build would be an improvement. But since it is not my my project it is not my call...

Re: qBittorrent 3.0.6 installer - Built with MSVC 2008 and uTP support
Well, my idea were more like:
{Old_Code} + {New_libtorrent} = {New_version}
Assuming the new build would inherit the improvements from the new libtorrent?

Re: qBittorrent 3.0.6 installer - Built with MSVC 2008 and uTP support
Just wondering, why don't we have a build with "libtorrent 0.16.5" (yet )
It would be interesting to see the improvements made in UDP connections.
