Search function

Post by Cerealkiller »

I've been using qbittorrent for a 5+ years now and the search function was always great. What has been done to it? Or am I doing something wrong now? It used to open onto it's own tab, essentially. Now it's in a little box up the top and it doesn't seem to find anything :)

Nothing changed... you just have to check for updates and then it works the same. (tried/tested on 4.2.5, Ubuntu 20.04)

Thanks for your reply Peter. I have since discovered that Python was not installed. Not sure if that happened when it updated or win 10 had done something to it??

Yeah Windows 10 offers this weird Python that it lets you download through the Windows Store.
I just usually go to Python's website, pick the x64 (64-bit) version for Windows and install it. Works like a charm.
