Remote GUI

Webui works great, don't get me wrong. But it would be nice to be able to remote connect to a daemon running on a headless seedbox.

I'm bumping this because I think it's a feature that would be really appreciated by a lot of people running seedboxes. Right now I can only think of one client doing this and it's deluge. Their concept is really great however the software isn't really stable under a lot of load (more than 1000 torrents for example). If the qbitorrent developers could pull this one off, it would surely be a good way to get a lot of serious torrenters to use it, which would help it gain a reputation as a serious bittorrent client ;)

I agree with this suggestion. Could be great :)

If qBittorrent got RPC , then it's not that hard to create a GUI. However, Transmission GUIs are made by external devs, not the core team. You may want to check that client which supports so many clients (I just can't recall it's name at the moment, sorry) and ask the developer if he could implement it or not.
