I don't know it either but I think if it would affect qBittorrent im very sure that sledge would do something about it.

This is old news. AFAIK we're not affected by this.
If they decide to nuke our software, we can use fosshub.com and probably github for binary releases too.

You may have to let www.qbittorrent.org point to another server than sourceforge.
