Update of qBittorrent

Post by whitehatckerch »

Hi, I was wondering...why isn't there an update? Two months are now past. I don't think an update is extremely necessary but...it would be great. I hope that the development is still running, because in a few years I would like to help to develop qBittorrent.
Thank you. Whitehatckerch :) :) :)

What?

If you check the Github Release page, you can see that previous versions didn't come any sooner:
https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/releases

The main point is... Most people want a stable client. They want to download, to seed, to handle their torrents.
I am sure you are one of these folks.

Releasing often could introduce breaking bugs.
But, if you don't care about that, you can compile your own qBittorrent!
It is very easy to do on Linux. (Not impossible on Windows either, just easier on Linux - for example on a recent Ubuntu version - in my opinion.)
