In the download page please provide .torrent file for the qBittorent client.

It will be useful for user that has bittorrent clients installed who want to switch to qBittorrent or upgrade to existing qBittorrent client.

I can understand it, but there are enough mirrors available to download already too.

I found it strange that a torrent downloading tool don't make use of the functionality it is build for.

Yeah but it'd be a bit of a hassle to always create a new .torrent and then rely on people to seed it. I think Vuze/Azureus used it's own p2p network to seed the new versions - but since there are great mirror sites in 2020 it's just not really needed anymore.
