built in cryptographic verification

I am not sure if this is already available as a plugin, but I think a built in checksum and signature verification applet to verify/check downloads would be helpful.

Torrent by itself, verifies the "checksum" of files. That's how torrent works in general.
You can make qBittorrent double-check in Settings.
Advanced: Recheckk torrents on completion.
