Could we PLEASE get a "dark mode" display" option? I like to work in a dimly lit room & those bright white/gray displays are blinding.

I couldn't agree more. I have insomnia so I often check on my torrents in the middle of the night and qbittorrent's blindly white background on my 32' monitor burns my eyes

qBitorrent had dark themes for a long time now.
