Re-downloading rather than rechecking

Post by Pigoletto »

Hi, and thanks for any help.

My HD died and I'm using a new one, with a newly d/loaded copy of qBittorent.

I have all my old torrents, and I have the books that go with them.

I'm trying to get them into qBittorent so that I can seed my existing things. I've tried adding torrents in a paused state, making sure the location is correct and going to Force Recheck, but it doesn't seem to work. Instead it seems to be re-downloading.

Can anybody help? I'm probably doing something wrong, but I can't work it out :(

Best,
P

1) set download path properly in settings
2) delete the torrents (makes sure NOT to tick remove data too)
3) re-add the torrents using the .torrent files

let it recheck, done.
