W10, v4.2.6 64-bit, a recent convert from utorrent.
I'm seeding about 200 files, every few days I'll check one of my sites and they say I'm not seeing a big pile of them. Today it's 34.
I check for the files and they are all still there. But they've been RENAMED.
Author - Title.EXT has been changed to Title - Author.EXT. OR Vice Versa.
I can rename them back to the original file name, then "force recheck" and all is well again.
They are all hidden so I never accidentally delete them or anything. I have no malware, viruses, auto-renaming programs, and the install is virgin, changed no settings outside of default paths. This never happened in 10 years+ of using utorrent, that's the only change. Some of these files I've already renamed back many times.
I have hundreds of OTHER files in this folder too, and they NEVER get renamed. Only the ones that are in Qtorrent's "care".
The log for today'll read like this:
File sizes mismatch for torrent _____________________, pausing it.
Most of them just say _______________ ' restored.
I've made the log file size bigger so maybe that'll help me troubleshoot, but anyone have any ideas?
"Some" files in qtor's care seems to be getting renamed
Re: "Some" files in qtor's care seems to be getting renamed
Just to update, if I disable automatic startup in windows, this problem goes away.
Still not 100% sure it's qBittorrent's problem, but it seems to be pointing in that direction.
