qBittorrent official forums

I just installed Win8 fresh, and qBittorrent 3.0.6 fresh as well. But for some reason when I'm downloading torrents qBittorrent will freeze every couple tens of seconds then resume then freeze again, while downloading the torrent. Does anyone else experience this on Win8? I tried uTorrent and it doesn't seem to have this problem, so it's probably not an I/O or network issue on the computer's end of things.

I've been using qBT on Windows 8 Pro x64 for over a month now without experiencing this issue.

I have the same problem. I reinstalled the program and nothing. It crash as soon as is started.

I tried with uninstall and deleted everithing with CCleaner but the same error.

Finally I tried with delete and delete all files under

C:\Documents and Settings\<<USER>>\Local Settings\Application Data\qBittorrent\BT_backup

and the program ran again. After load the torrent files again the qbittorrent started to fail.

Finally I found the problem

Problem was the firewal McAfee. I give full access to the qbittorrent app.

It should be done thougth Firewall-> Internet connection for programs->
Access -> Full
Net Guard -> Off

I use Kaspersky but qBittorrent already has full permissions.
