qBittorent and Windows 8 Compatability Question?.

I am a very happy qBittorent user and fan with v3.0.8 installed on my Windows 7 64 bit OS PC. My daughter has just bought a laptop with the Windows 8 OS on it and asked me to set it up with a security system, essential programs etc etc. I visited the site here today in order to download and install qBittorent on the Win8 machine but in the downloads screen it only mentions Windows XP, Vista, Win7 as compatable OS'. Is this correct and that qBittorent is not compatable with Win8 at the moment?. Thanks in advance for any answers and thanks also to all you young people who create fantastic programs like qBittorrent.

The answer(s) are right here in this forum..
Official Windows 32-bit build by sledgehammer_999 is reported to work on Windows 8 x86 by desert_by_night here (right above your own post):

If it works on Windows 8 x86, I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work on Windows 8 x64 as well.
Unofficial Windows 64-bit build by Dayman is specifically built to work on Windows Vista x64, Windows7 x64 and Windows8 x64, like stated by Dayman himself here:

I can also confirm that sledgehammer's builds run without issue on Windows 8 x64.
