When checking previously (if only partially) downloaded torents I got too the I/O errors.
I solved the problem unchecking Read only from Properties of the respective folder, at least with the 32 bit alpha build.

Re: I/O solved
Which I/O errors? Every I/O error has a description which specifies it. It comes in the form of "I/O error: reason"
You can see the whole message in the log(View->Execution Log).

Re: I/O solved
Before un-checking Read only in Properties of the folder involved, in execution log appear the following : Access denied.
Today after a hurried shutdown of Windows (and of qbit. also probably) the message is : fast resume rejected : mismatching file size, but for smaller number of torrents and the problem was solved after a recheck.
