Issue on downloading to a NAS folder

Hi & happy new year!

I have an issue with downloading files to a network (NAS) folder.
The torrents always stop and the error message is "the system cannot find the path specified". Forcing restart helps (but not always ~ 20%), but even then the error appears again after a couple of minutes.
I'm not a very technical person, and I understand that the problem may be caused by the NAS not the qB, but even if this is the case I hope there are other qB users who share my "network configuration" and might have a solution for me.
One more detail: this problem did not occur until I upgraded my laptop to Windows 8.
I have also just upgraded to the qB 3.1.4 version.
