This is the name of my Windows account, on Cyrillic. This can be seen in the picture above.
Forum replaced ?? on ??
Meybe this is a reson, i mean that in path to resume.dat appears account name written in Cyrillic?
It could be, I have no idea whether the converter is UTF capable or not, but if you copy resume.dat to a folder that only uses ANSII characters it will possibly work ok.
The converter itself is definitely UTF capable. Command line parameter handling is not, and I just don't feel the need to fix it. You can almost always use short filenames in windows.

Thanks for your time and effort Danzig, much appreciated.

Well I did it mainly for myself, just thought to share it with you guys
Now I'm happily running qBittorrent 3.3 beta at last. It's faster and more stable than uTorrent. And RSS downloading works over proxy.

Re: Migrate from uTorrent to qBittorrent easily
Hi,
Can you maybe tweak your program to migrate torrent status from uTorrent to qBitTorrent ? I mean the files that where already downloaded in uTorrent and have "finished" status. Right now after using you program I get "missing files" status on every torrent. I can't check files for those torrents because I don't have them anymore and I changed the location of those files many times. I can't also download it again because the are not accessible anymore. With uTorrent I don't have that problem cause every torrent position has "finished" status.
In uTorrent resume.dat file value "started=0" makes file marked as finished and value "started=4" makes them not.
Is this possible for you ?

Re: Migrate from uTorrent to qBittorrent easily
so the point of loading them into qbittorrent is?I can't check files for those torrents because I don't have them anymore
If the payload is not there, those tasks WILL have 'missing files' for obvious reasons.

I don't get it eitherciaobaby wrote:so the point of loading them into qbittorrent is?I can't check files for those torrents because I don't have them anymore

Re: Migrate from uTorrent to qBittorrent easily
uTorrent doesn't check for the payload that are there or not when starting the client till the torrent is resumed. So even if the location of the payload has changed/deleted it shows 100% finished status.
Importing these torrents into qBittorrent shows that there are files missing cause qBittorrent does check for the payload which isn't there anymore.
That is his question which has nothing to do with your importer Danzig which works good but has to do with the difference of those 2 clients checking the loaded torrents and their payloads.
(I thought that something similiar was also implented into qBittorrent but can't find it, or im wrong).
