Hi.

I'm having weird audio lag when Qbittorrent is active. No matter if it is downloading or in idle, or even when I set upload speed to 5KBps, when watching movies or listening to music, or even videos on YT, i have ranodm audio stuttering. When Qbittorrent is disabled (shutted off), everything is back to normal. No audio stuttering.

Running Win 10.

I have the same thing, I think.
we have windows 10 in common...maybe that's the issue.

I have the same problem with version 3.2.3 on Windows 7 (x64) so the issue is probably not Windows 10.

Questions for all of you.


Media  Player being  used and does it still happen if you use a different one?

CPU model?

Memory being used.
Swap file type and size? (Settings -> Virtual Memory)

qBT cache settings?
qBT cache used? (view -> Statistics)

potplayer for media playback.
chrome x64 latest version for youtube playback.
as I mentioned in my own thread it happens even in games  (not cutscenes , when playing games) if qbittorrent is running in background.
I'll try to record the desktop to see if i catch it.
AMD Phenom 1055 T
6 out 8  GB of memory used at most (chrome tabs are hungry). Swap file is system managed and set by default at 1280MB.
OS is running on a Intel  335 SSD 240GB.
qBT write cache size = auto
qBT cached used????  can't find it . are you refering to "Total Buffer size"? it's about 28MB

Memory Used : Probably at most 2 out of 4 Gb (qBT+ 1/2 chrome tabs)

This is what is seen in statistics:

One more thing that I noticed, is that Qbit is slow in fetching trackers thus starting download needs a lot of time. And that is for files where there is a large number of seeders and peers.

I also have the same problem with youtube videos on chrome x86.
