hey
so I'm using Windows 7 ultimate and latest build of qbittorrent stable. I noticed the country flags are missing.
No flags shown
but I've enabled "resolve peer countries (GeoIP) in the settings.
ideas?

The problem did not get unnoticed. I already opened an issue on qBittorrent's GitHub-page with the same problem:

Another user posted a quote of their logs, saying the same as my logs did: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorr ... -238717273
Seems like Maxmind have changed some links to the specific GeoIP2-country file because of a monthly update (or Maxmind screwed up something big), thus qBittorrent cannot download the file. I guess the community needs to change one thing in the source code to get it working -- but then most people of the community do not really have coding experience, such as me. Saying this, it could be an other issue causing the problem (as mentioned above: Maxmind screwed up...), but we need to wait until the issue is found and resolved.

Ah I see.. thanks I though I had screw up something in my setup.. but many thanks for you

i have the same problem using version 4.0.4, log shows - Couldn't download GeoIP database file. Reason: The remote server refused the connection, is there a solution?
