Which save destination folder do I select to fix download error?

went to tool>option>download. : selected save folder. didn't save there. I know there some way to do it but not sure what. what is your guys set up as? cause I messing around and got it to work once but after I began to download another one, the same "error"/stalling issue occur and I thought I repeated the steps but no success. recollate whatever isn't checked. I have it all on manual currently.
