Unable to access webui on home wifi network

I set username as admin and a password.

When I try to access via webui by entering ipaddress:8080 on iPad safari, I am asked to enter user password in a dialog box which I do. It apparently asks again and again and again.

I've checked and re-entered my user password in qbittorrent settings.

Doesn't help.

Are you entering your external IP address or your internal one?

If you're on the local network you want the local IP address of the computer/server hosting qbittorent.

Should start with 10.X.X.X or 192.168.X.X

I'm entering local internal ip address 192.168.1.xx:8080

I can post logs if somsone can tell me how to find them if that helps. I'm on Windows 10.

I also have this problem. It gives no error like "wrong password" just reloads the page and doesn't log me in.
