.torrent files in the wrong location

Post by silk186 »

My downloads folder is filling up with .torrent files and I'm not sure if the issue is with Chrome or qBittorrent.
The download folder is the default for Chrome(D:\downloads), not the folders I've set as default for qBittorent (F:\Torrents in Progress) and (F:\Torrents Completed).
I'm getting tired of my downloads folder filing up with .torrent files.
Torrents downloaded through Sonarr seem to correctly save to F:\torrent files but not manual downloads.

I posted elseware and it was suggested that
It was suggested that this may be the result of how Chrome handles .torrent files. This may be the case.
If so, I would expect qBittorrent to move the .torrent file after a download completes. It is also possible the qBittorrent load the .torrent and creates a second .torrrent file in the correct folder. If this is the case, should i select 'Delete .torrent files afterwards' in qBittorrent settings, and delete all the files in my chrome downloads folder?
