torrents completes, on completion Qt rechecks the download and then rolls back

Post by there »

The issue is that I am downloading a 6.95gb torrent. This torrent has folders.

The torrent downloads and completes, but on completion it rechecks and Qt keeps rolling back on various files within folders. This has been happening for days now and my sources are drying up?

EDIT: I unticked 'Recheck torrent on completion' and it got to 100% complete. I exited Qt and on starting again to 93.9%

Edit 2: As above,  I unticked 'Recheck torrent on completion' and it got to 100% complete. I exited Qt and copied the files to a new folder.

Started QT again and on examination i listed the files using Qt and found the now incomplete ones. Tried to play one of the now incomplete ones and it does not play, however if I tried to play the same file that I copied over when it reached 100%, and then exiting Qt, then that version plays.

This is not the first time I have come across this. Previous work-around was to set my download to the minimum of 2 maximum connections per torrent, but not this time.

TIA
