Hello and farewell

Post by vorob »

Don't wanna sound rude or smth, so I apologize if you'll think so.

I was using utorrent forever, but one day decided to try smth new, without ads. So i installed qbittorrent.

And the biggest problem of this program is that 40% of my torrents stay in "stalled" for a VERY long time. I have no idea what that is, and honestly, i don't even wanna know. I just switched back to utorrent and it downloaded all these torrents immediately. Actually i never ever had issues with downloading via utorrent. It can be bad because of ads but it never forced me to change any settings. Just install, open *.torrent file and that's it.

Maybe stalled issue can be fixed somewhere in settings, but why should i work on this when another program works without such moves?

p.s. also i hate qbittorrent update message. Why there are no button "get lost, i don't wanna any updates". And it was really hard to find such button in options.

I have qBittorrent installed, but I use another client 99% of the time.
Even so, it took me less than 10 seconds to find this:
Tools>Options>Advanced>Check for software updates (uncheck box).
