Disconnect VPN, just paid for a lifetime subscription. mistake?

my monthly subscription to Ivacy just came up and thought fuck paying this every month because I just saw a site review for the lifetime subscription to Disconnect. so I paid for that instead.

I have it installed and it doesn't seem to have many options but the thing I am noticing, first of all, is that qBittorrent isn't downloading. I have been using Ivacy for ages and that just worked fine.

what do I do here, I can use this to download torrents, right?

I already don't like this anywhere near as much as Ivacy

Apart from the fact that I cannot find a 'lifetime subscription' for the VPN service you mentioned, this topic is in the wrong section - it's more related to "Off-Topic" than to qBittorrent-Windows.

Try to read this article: https://torrentfreak.com/vpn-services-k ... mous-2018/ ... and create an opinion yourself about the various VPN services out there. Keep in mind that you are responsible for your actions when torrenting after all.
