Sequential downloading question

Hello,

when i enable downloading of a torrent in sequential mode and torrent has numerous files in its payload (downloading many files) and if there is only one peer with lets say 43% of content

will whole torrent stop downloading at first missing element in an torrent file number 1 or will it continue downloading next file number 2?

i mean if one missing part of some file cause full stop of downloading or if qbt will attempt to download all files in case one or more is incomplete and no seeder have that incomplete part?

It will download everything that's available. It will just skip the missing pieces as it goes.

According to your explanation i would describe seq. downloading this way:
It downloads all the payload files, each from beginning to the end, and automaticaly skip parts of each file which no current peer has available.

though i still have doubts it is like that because to this day my impression is that when i downloaded single file using this method it stopped downloading at point in file where no peer has that particular piece, but when i disabled seq.download,it began downloading the file again.

Maybe someone else will also comment

This is why I never enable sequential download.
