Testing my translation locally in qBittorrent?

Post by damnit »

Hi there.

Is there a way to open Transifex .ts files in qBittorrent?

It's easier to make accurate and decent translations if you know the context, especially if you have limited knowledge of the target language/dialect.

That's how i started, instead of doing a line after line in Transifex, i opened qBittorrent, chose a section and then looked it all up on Transifex to translate.

But then i took a long break and now I'm lost. I would love to open my translation in qBittorrent somehow to see where i left.

Is there any way to do that? Any way to open .ts files in qBittorrent? Thanks, lads.

well ...

- I have qBittorrent in a virtual machine
- I have the source + dependencies
- Once I have done my changes on Transifex, I grab the file and replace it in source
- Re-compile the version with my changes.

It's a bit time consuming but not so bad...

Was afraid so. That's probabaly a little too time consuming for me, don't have the Virtual machine set up or anything.

Could you do this for me as well the next time you re-compile for your own needs? I'm in no rush.
