Hey guys. Could someone please explain to me a what Disk Caching actually does? I've read about it online and and it says that it determines the amount of ram used before transfering to the disk.
But what is the data being stored in the ram?
What if you lose power before the transfer?
Will I see any benefits from changing these settings?
I have 16 gigs of ram so I was thinking of changing from 64MiB to 4000Mib since browsing and torrenting is what I mostly use my computer for.
