Before starting the download I would set the location by hand.
I set categories for all my torrents (Movies/Series) for my own overview, not to automate anything.
Today I activated some options located in the Downloads Tab. More precisely to change the path where Downloads should be located based on:
- Checkbox: Change of default path
- Checkbox: Change of category path
- Checkbox: Category set
Somewhere in the process i f*cked up, and now all my finished downloads were moved to the folder I set for unfinished downloads named "temp":
- Movies
- empty
- Series
- empty
- Temp
- Unfinished Downloads
- Finished Downloads
I thought: Alright, no problem I just select all files and change the destination folder from "temp" to "Movies" or "Series". Sadly after this the unfinished downloads would start again. I have a lot of files so I immediately paused the download process. I dont know whats going on here. Changing the directory of downloads worked before. Could it be something about the folder being set as "unfinished" folder, so qBittorent thinks it has to download again? Hope someone here has a Idea.
