Settings folder

Post by MrT »

Hello.

I installed qBittorrent to some folder on D:\ but it still has all its settings and torrents list in AppData folder on C:\
Is it possible to change the default place to store all of this in the installation folder on D:\ in order not to lose everything after Windows reinstall or refresh?

Thank you.

Hey!

Seems like the newer versions support "out of the box" portable mode by creating a profile folder besides the executable. Another option is to use --profile=<custom directory> flag.

Best!
