Startup parameters for using specific network interface?

Post by g2159687 »

Hi, I'd like to know if there is a parameter allows me to select which network interface to use on software startup. Currently I have to "set network interface -> close qb -> restart qb" to change network, which is very inconvenient. If I can have a parameter (like "qbittorrent.exe -i eth0" to use eth0 network) then it will be great.

Why not use AutoHotkey?

1) Start app
2) ALT+O
3) Press DOWN ARROW 7 times

4) there it is...

Thanks for replying. My pain is not the complexity of selecting network interfaces though, it's the long restart process and possible complications about tracker announcing when changing network interface. Anyway, I decided to use a new copy/instance, each instance for a different network interface. Seems like this is supported since 4.2.2, but I haven't see the way of specifying new config folder yet. Any clues towards creating new instance with different config folder?
