Port Forwarding - VPN

My VPN, (Private Internet Access), is set up for port-forwarding. When I start qBittorrent it does not automatically change/match the forwarded port that the VPN is using. Other clients do. Is this normal behavior or is there a way of setting this up? I have checked the box - "Use UpnP / NAT-PMP port forwarding from my router". Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.
