Need help with torrent settings

Post by Gudron »

What are the optimal settings in qBittorrent to (aggressively) seed at my connection's maximum speed? I want to max out my upload whenever possible, without regard for the connection being usable for anything else.

I tested my internet speed with:
-Testmy.net: 326Mbps download and 105 Mbps upload
-ISP speed tester: 460Mbps download and 250Mbps upload.

My upload speeds are kinda low, even on new torrents with many leechers that I am one of the few seeders on. Sometimes qBittorrent will start out seeding to peers at a decent speed like 6-8MB/s(or even better), and then slow down to 100-300KB/s (it doesn't always do this but mostly). I'm curious if there are better settings I could be using that could help utilize my connection better.

I currently have 110(and growing) torrents and wondering if there are better settings than what I use now.
Current settings:
Global maximum number of connections: 500
Maximum number of connections per torrent: 100
Global maximum number of upload slots: 450
Maximum number of upload slots per torrent: 50
Apply rate limit to uTP protocol: checked
DHT, PeX, local peer: unchecked all

My pc specs are:
-cpu: i3-4170
-ram: 8gb 1600mhz
-mobo: asus h97m-e

When I was downloading with like 40Mb/s my upload was slowing down so I limited the download speed to 30Mb/s to be able to upload at 2-3Mb/s(but isn't always like this).

Any help is appreciated!
