repeated erroring of old and new completed files

hey guys, was wondering if anyone had any bright ideas
I have 1972 torrents in my list, of up to 2-3 years old. they are downloaded to a NAS, which should have file redundancy.
On multiple occasions, some of my previously completed files would randomly error and say that a portion of the file is missing. The file would always be within the 98-99.9% completed range after force rechecking. Usually there are at least 20 torrents that have errored out.
Is there anything I could do to help stop this?
