.torrent.qbt_rejected

Since a few weeks (I believe since the last upgrade but I am not sure) I am experiencing a strange issue: all downloaded torrents get saved with the ".torrent.qbt_rejected" ending.
Specifically:
> running Win 10 x64 and qBittorrent 4.3.7
> all my downloads end to Downloads folder
> qBt is set to automatically load torrents in that folder
> torrens are being loaded, and started normally (manual) but they are tagged with the ".torrent.qbt_rejected" suffix
I believe I did not change any settings in qBt when I updated it
What I would like is to revert to the previous situation, when after being dowloaded to the folder, torrents would be automatically loaded and deleted (the deletion is not happening any longer)
