Today I've had problems with download speed not going above exactly 1 MiB no matter the number of connections, even though bandwidth test gave me the usual values around 8-9. I suspected the provider had started messing with P2P so I installed a VPN, but nothing changed.
What could be the issue? I'm on Win 10 and using the latest version.
Download speed issues
Re: Download speed issues
Most bandwidth tests give results in megabits/second.
qBitTorrent measures speeds in MegaBytes/second.
It takes about 8.3-9.5 megabits/second upload bandwidth to reach 1 MegaByte/second upload speed in qBitTorrent.

Re: Download speed issues
Could it be an infrastructure issue? I *have* been getting the occasional brief disconnect in the past few weeks.
For the record, 1 MiB is indeed below my average, I usually easily get 4-6 with a lot of connections. But for some reason it stops at 1 MiB as if it's being capped, and apparently the ISP isn't the problem.
EDIT: Currently installing a game on GOG Galaxy and... yeah. Yeah, definitely a network problem. Sorry to have wasted your time, guys.

Re: Download speed issues
Network problem on your computer, router, modem, ISP, or elsewhere?
Re: Download speed issues
Network as in the whole infrastructure. I've had the occasional connection hiccup the past few weeks, so that might be to blame.
