WebUI port resetting to 8080

Post by iSlaker »

This has been driving me insane for about ten days or so now but the WebUI port keeps resetting to 8080 after reboots or service restarts.
I've tried changing qBittorent-nox's config manually, changing its permissions to read-only. Nothing helps and whatever port I set, it will return to 8080.
I've seen this behaviour on an AMD x64 and on a Raspberry Pi 4 both running Ubuntu 20.04.
Qbittorrent-nox's version is 4.3.3.99.
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Well, workaround: Simply keep it on :8080 inside, but on your router, define a different port in NAT.
This way, the inside port stays 8080 but you can set it to anything outside.
