Dear friends,
I downloaded with UBUNTU SOFTWARE: qBittorrent v4.1.7.
When I pasted in the following link to add:
https://thevpntrustzone.xyz/r?RID=B-538 ... AzNDU1NzY4
I got the following error message. The link in the error message has no relation to the above link that I pasted in:
Invalid torrent: Failed to load the torrent: /tmp/.qBittorrent/YLkKeo. Error: expected value (list, dict. int or string) in bencoded string.
I tried a few other links, and always received the same error message, though each time with a different link.
Invalid torrent: Failed to load the torrent: /tmp/.qBittorrent/YLkKeo. Error: expected value (list, dict. int or string) in bencoded string.
All this means nothing to me. Please help me figure this out?
Dada
Failed to load torrent: Error: expected value
Re: Failed to load torrent: Error: expected value
Hi,
The current version is 4.3.7. The first move will be to update, with Ubuntu this is easy thanks to the PPA. Select Linux>Ubuntu in the download page for instructions https://www.qbittorrent.org/download.php
You can browse the bug section too seeing if something is possible with your version but at the end the most recent version should be a better move.
