qBittorrent official forums

I am using Linux Mint 20,2, and qbittorrent 4.3.7. Almost anytime I try to download a torrent, it starts out stalled. It rarely starts downloading, then stalls again. About once out of fifty tries, it will complete downloading. Otherwise, it does nothing. Does anybody know anything that could help me. If yes, I will scream and jump for joy.

is the 4.3.7 the first version tested (version related or not is the question)? What about the network setup and opened port?
May you try to change the DNS (IPv4 AND IPv6) on the computer hosting QBT? You can use the one of Google or Cloudflare for example.
