IP Hostname to report to tracker in qBittorrent

Hi.

I have internal IP adress and my ISP give me external IP address but as an option. I must use this option:

On uTorrent I use "IP Hostname to report to tracker".
On rtorrent I use "IP = xxxxxx ".

Can you add to qBittorrent this feature? I beg you, because I do not want to use uTorrent (he has closed code). It shouldn't be hard to add. Please.

I hope this is what I'm looking for. I'm using a vpn service for torrent downloads, this means that I need to tell the program that I'm on another ip then what it would expect. Is it possible to add this feature or is it already implemented?

You can currently force the use of a particular network interface but not a specific IP address.

Any of you a Linux user who knows how to compile software? I would like to implement this but implementation is not obvious and I am no easy way to test it.

For those interested, I have just implemented this in SVN/trunk (future v2.7.0).

I have backported it to v2.6.x so that people don't have to wait too long.

It will be included in v2.6.6 release and it was tested (successfully) by a user yesterday.
