Translations on Transifex

I have created a project on Transifex for translating qBittorrent. If you are a translator consider contributing there. It has a really nice online editor with pretty good suggestions.

Here is the link: https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/qbittorrent/

Also for the coders: We'll need a script to fetch the new translations automatically before each release and/or each day. Currently transifex is set to track automatically this file: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorr ... rent_en.ts which is used as the source language

How are you gonna combat possible merge conflicts?
When you push lupdated ts into the branch while somebody else is working on previous version (and I'm sure transifex doesn't know about lupdate) there are bound to be merge conflicts.

P.S. You could also update wiki: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorr ... Bittorrent

I'll check/complete/fix up the Hungarian translation, thanks for the notice.

Sledge, transiflex is not very good. Spaces at the end of strings are trimmed. We can either try to move special characters/spaces out of tr or dunno what else :S

Gonna fix translations :-/

Is there anything WE could host? Like an online translation platform of some sort?

Well, if you two can decide which one should I install on our hosting server, I can easily get one up and running in minutes.

Pootle highlights spaces, not sure about the other one. They both use translate-toolkit, but highlighting is done by the Web frontend.

I take my word back. Pootle looks a bit hard to host (like you need a VPS/dedicated for that).
I'll try to talk with the host guy though. Hopefully he can / will install the necessary software.

Else we will have to settle with something else.

I don't think this is a good idea. I used Transifex in order to make qbt more accessible to new translators. Transifex has a huge user base. Already when I started the project there I got requests for 3 new locales (2x vietnamese 1x estonian). And one of those is already at 14% complete.

PS: I saw the "space" thing and I am looking into it. I just don't have much time today.
PS2: @shiki thanks for offering to host such a thing, anyway.

np

I'm still working on the Hungarian translation. Some words were really mistranslated.
I started working on the lang file but then I got busy with my own job. But I'll finish it soon, as I don't want to leave it half-done.

Wow what? There are literally no comments on the new bugs. Do they hide the bugs if they get them fixed?
Or how do they do it?

Judging by https://github.com/transifex/transifex/ ... ghlight.js spaces should be highlighted (but leading and trailing ones are trimmed anyway). So the version hosted on trasifex is either not up-to-date or modified.
