Hi vrwmiaris,

You can touch the URL from your phone browser and you should be able to open it with the app (unless you defined a default action). You can also copy and paste the URL in the Add torrent section and it will send the torrent to the server, and you can download the torrent and open it from a file browser (like ES File Explorer) and choose the app to open the torrent file.

The app says "Torrent sent" because it what it does...so you have to check in the server log if the torrent was received. For example, if you have a firewall in the qBittorrent server the torrent might be blocked. Also if you are using qBittorrent server 2.x and the torrent is too big it will be rejected.

If you want, you can send me the torrent file in a pm and I can check it.

EDIT: Also take into account you have to touch or add the torrent link (.torrent file) or magnet link, not the web page URL where the torrent is published, because the app will say "Torrent sent" but the server will be rejected!

I would like to ask to all people in the forum to rate the app in Google Play, because despite it works new users download the app and if they don't enable the Web UI then just rate the app with one start. And not longer try to make it work (in deed I try to help them but I never get answers).

You need to change the name, because "qBittorrent Client" implies that it is a TRUE client with download capabilities  rather than being  an interface to control a remote client.

And you KNOW that the title is all they will read no matter what it says further down the page.

In deed I wanted to change the name to avoid confusion, for instance to qBittorrent Controller or qBittorrent Remote Control. Next release will have a different name!
