qbittorrent with showRSS

I'm trying to use showRSS to download shows automatically in qBittorrent v4.1.3 but the client only supports json and rssrules files. All the RSS feeds I ever get are in XML. When converting to json they never work. How do you even add an RSS feed to the torrent client?
