Hey everyone,
I would like some guidelines improve my security, privacy and anonymity through the in-app configurations of qBittorent client. I am not a very technical person, but I care about my privacy. I was hoping if privacy focused configuration and tips are suggested to me. On the plus side, if the cons of those settings could also be mentioned, that would be a bonus. I am still trying to learn my way around computers and internet.

Well, it is really too broad topic and it applies to bittorrent protocol in general, so you can read any non client specific privacy guideline thoroughly and then ask how to implement a specific counter-measure. Remember, when bittorrent protocol was designed nobody cared about privacy at all.

I could add a few more privacy policies, rather broad and strict for the reasons I highlighted above:

• Transfer private torrents only. Yes, avoid using DHT and PeX. (It is possible to turn them off completely in the Settings)
• Use HTTPS trackers only. (Not possible to implement in qB)
