ok this time I know the issue for sure, well I'm 70% sure lol but thank you for testing though it's giving me hints on what I'm doing wrong and future references could you use the code tag?

@Zach is it possible to run a clean install of osx in a VM? If yes, you can test your builds yourself without the need of users.

and hopefully this last build will be truly the last, it will go a long way in future builds if it did work, if need be, I may have to reinstall osx and then just sure things don't get mangled up, at least I'm learning how things work in terms of osx packaging

If you are willing to reinstall osx I propose this: Make a VM instead using virtualbox on the mac machine(unless apple's licensing doesn't permit it), it will save you the trouble. It's your decision anyway.

well trying to find a retail disk that hasn't been touched on torrents is slightly hard to find with good seeders, but I'll see about it, I generally don't like playing with virtual machines, tends to be slow and painful to use

oh since you said you can reinstall it I thought you already had a disk/image of the OS. Nevermind then. Probably you just have a "recovery partition".

nah this was a used mac I had got from someone so that I could begin work on some apps I'm working on and make it truly cross platform

which the error is already reported, but I thank you for your willingness to test, it is much appreciated, I'll post an update as I am able to setup a clean vm.
EDIT: Ok I setup a vm and I deduced a possible reason why it's not working, for one all the frameworks are included, but for some reason it's not reading the library properly for qtxml
EDIT2: alright so I basically cleaned up my entire macports install and this time setting it up for a universal binary install and starting fresh on macports and hopefully can produce a clean setup with all I need
