Connection status indicator in v.3.2.0

Post by Kalkas »

Hello,

I have a lot of trafic, both downloading and uploading, but the connection status indicator is not full freen, but yellow. I had no such issue in previous versions of qBittorrent.

Best regards,

Turn off UPnP.

Aaand of course set up port forwarding if you do that. :)
By the way yellow means "not sure". If it's not green, or red, then you are perfectly fine.

In my previous versions of qBittorrent, the option "Use UPnP / NAT-PMP port forwarding from my router" is enabled and Connection Status indicator was green. For now, I am using the previous version 3.1.12 which works fine.

I am not sure how do I set up port forwarding if I do not enable UPnP.

Then keep using UPnP.
Look, if the swarm/connection-status is just like "that", then qBittorrent cannot determine your status.

But trust me, if you are blocked, it would be red.
UPnP forwarding still works, and if you get peers, then it is therotically green.

I am not sure how do I set up port forwarding if I do not enable UPnP.
Check the user manual for your router (usually on the CD that came with it) or check at Portforward for instructions for  your router.
