qbt doesn't work after upgrading from 3.3.6 to 4.1.3

hi, i haven't been able to get any versions past 3.3.6 to work even though i have made sure the settings/preferences in newer versions are the same, is there anything i can do to make 4.1.3 function?

what makes 3.3.6 work fine apparently breaks 4.1.3, which shows the torrent as downloading with zero seeds, zero peers, zero nodes, no working trackers; under connection status it says "no direct connections, this may indicate network configuration problems," but in 3.3.6 it says that too and yet the same torrent downloads immediately with plenty of seeds/peers/nodes/working trackers.

so everything between the two versions appears to be the same and yet only 3.3.6 works, 4.1.3 is dead in the water. would appreciate any suggestions, thanks very much.

Software firewalls sometimes get very testy about changes to programs demanding internet access...and blocks them.
So check your firewall settings.
